062 A friend at Midnight

It’s in the middle of the night and you need something urgently: who do you go to, how quickly will they respond and most importantly why will they respond to you.

Today we read a parable of Jesus.

In this parable the neighbor is also a friend with his own family.
This man needs some assistance and knocks the door of his neighbor’s in the middle of the night
The neighbor finally response
Then Jesus draws an analogy of our posture when asking God for assurance.

  1. Ask and keep asking and you will receive
  2. Seek and keep seeking and you will find
  3. Knock and keep knocking and the door will be opened.
